This year was particularly exciting with our site redesign. Beyond that, their outstanding contributions include 117+ feature images, 74+ engaging social media posts, 10+ product tutorial videos, 40+ landing pages, and 8 deal campaigns.
Introduced TikTok: A new platform joins the family
This year, we took things up by adding the most-requested TikTok Feed to WP Social Ninja! The excitement in our team was off the charts as we introduced this interactive platform to our users.
The best part? Setting it up is super simple, and customizing it is as easy as using any other WP Social Ninja social feature. Plus, the TikTok Feed is available for everyone, whether you want to enjoy the free or pro versions!
More upgradation for a better experience
Beyond adding a major platform like TikTok, we’ve rolled out exciting updates to upgrade your experience. Let’s take a quick look at some of these special feature updates!
GDPR compliant for social feeds
This year, we made a big leap with GDPR-compliant feeds for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube! Not only does this protect user data, but it also makes your feeds faster and smoother.
Plus, you can save images locally, control their resolution, and optimize YouTube thumbnails for better performance. It’s all about delivering secure and visually stunning feeds for your audience!
A better UX
We know how you would get puzzled issues with broken images or feed loading problems. So, we’ve improved the user experience for Facebook, TikTok feeds, and review feeds, just like we did with Instagram.
Now, you can spot glitches directly from your dashboard, with clear error messages to help fix any problems. Along with this update, we also had an addition to TikTok feed configuration part. This will remind you to reconnect your TikTok feed when necessary.
GDPR-compliant review feeds
WP Social Ninja now brings full GDPR compliance to review feeds to provide more security for customer data while staying fully transparent. You can now showcase customer reviews confidently, knowing they meet data protection standards.
This update was to let you enjoy faster load times and smooth performance, all while building trust with your audience. Also, it’s a step toward delivering a safer and more reliable experience for everyone.
Email-report handling
We’ve upgraded email error reporting for Facebook feeds, reviews, and TikTok feeds. Now, if something goes wrong, like an API error or expired token, you’ll get instant alerts.
We wanted you to stay informed, fix issues quickly, and keep your feeds running perfectly. This update ensures you never miss a beat, so your social feeds and reviews always stay flawless and worry-free!
Tripadvisor API migration
Fetching Tripadvisor reviews is now easier! We’ve upgraded from the old URL-scraping method to a seamless API migration.
Now, simply enter your API key and Place ID to connect your Tripadvisor business account. This new process is quicker, more reliable, and delivers a smoother experience for showcasing your valuable reviews.
Fetch Yelp reviews
In 2024, we tackled a big one – Yelp reviews! While the Yelp API limits review sharing to the 3 most recent ones, WP Social Ninja has you covered.
Our plugin now periodically checks for new Yelp reviews and keeps your website fresh and updated with the 3 latest feedback. No more worries about missing out on showcasing your customers’ feedback; it’s all automated and perfectly displayed for you.
Chat widget drag and drop reordering option
We made managing your chat widgets even easier! With our new drag-and-drop feature, you can now reorder your chat widgets to prioritize your preferred platform and make sure your audience connects with you on the right one first.
Plus, you can now enable a prefilled WhatsApp message to make it even simpler for visitors to reach out. It’s a small change with a significant impact on your communication game.

Language-specific reviews collect option for Tripadvisor and Booking.com
This is for hospitality businesses! Dealing with reviews in multiple languages is common, especially from international guests. But now you don’t have to worry about this when you have WP Social Ninja.
You can display reviews in your chosen language. Moreover, you can selectively showcase reviews from Tripadvisor and Booking.com, and simply connect with your customers, no matter where they’re from.
More improvised Schema Snippet feature
Here’s another upgrade for Social Reviews! We’ve upgraded our Schema Snippet feature, which will allow you to add your business address directly to customer reviews.
All you have to do is enable the ‘Include Business Address’ option and fill in the info. This simple update will improve your local SEO and brand visibility. A small tweak, but it packs a big punch for your business!
Upgrade Instagram personal account to Basic Display API
Next is Instagram’s API change. Since December 2024, the “Connect Personal Account” option has been unavailable.
We’ve switched it up with the “Connect Business Basic Account” feature. Just remember to update your personal account to a creator or professional one, and you’re all set!
