Beautiful location next to the black sea. Excellent service. The waiter although he was busy with other clients had time to check on us if we needed anything else or clear the empty plates. The food was very tasty and well prepared.

Restaurant has a nice local environmment whilst being set on the seafront. Good service and adequate food throughout. The Bulgarians have a habit of serving hot food on a cold plate which then quickly becomes cold food! Much of the food is fried and battered

Great service in Balchik. Best food we had so far after trying several others. Server very hospitable and accommodating. Food outstanding.
Wonderful position away from the main strip. Good service.
Wonderful position overlooking the sea and just below the Palace, away from the more commercialised restaurants further along the strip. Altogether a more relaxing setting. Our mussels and homemade chips were very good. Our waiter was very good, efficient with a pleasant smile. Prices are reasonable for its position. It is a large restaurant and the inside seating area looked very good, however on a hot summers night the pleasure is sitting outside and taking in the view. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

Food was terrible and tasteless. The waiters were frequently disappearing from the premises. We were a party of 4, the main course being brought separately, all of us having to wait, therefore having the food cool down before eating together. I would NOT recommend this place to any tourist coming to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Balchik.

We were a party of 4, the main course being brought separately, all of us having to wait, therefore having the food cool down before eating together. I would NOT recommend this place to any tourist coming to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Balchik.

Great food, nice staff, very good location. We ate here after the gardens&palace visit, and came back a few days later from varna just to have lunch. I recommend the cod fish and you must try the nougat ice cream.

Good location, terrible experience!
I checked TripAdvisor and I saw is the best restaurant in the area, so I tried to get lunch there. From the entrance the waiter was upset that we pass in the restaurant, the empty table was full of dirty dishes, maybe because of big traffic. I waited approx. 15 minutes and nobody came to clean the table, was not an issue because nobody came to take order. In the moment I asked the waiter to take our order and clean the table he started yelling on us that we need to wait if we want to eat there, 15 minutes that we waited, is nothing, there are people that wait one hour and don’t complain. In that moment I took the decision to leave the place, for me, lunch with the family is a moment of joy and in that place was totally opposite!
Bad experience - be prepared to wait
Food is decent. Seafood looks frozen, though. Problem is with staff, they do not have enough waiters. Kitchen is probably very disorganised as I can confirm, as other guests have reviewed here, that they do not bring food to the tables together. We waited 40 minutes since the first person got their food until the final person got theirs. Waiters completely ignore you and you will probably waste more than 30 minutes since you ask to pay until you get the check.

Disappointing
I visited the restaurant due to the good evaluation on here. My experience was very different. The location is phenomenal. Food was one-star-worthy though I received a burnt salmon steak with two shrimps on top and a mojito without rum. When I told them to please check the drink they said maybe the barman had forgotten about the rum. Haha. Mojito is not a hard drink to make. And the burnt salmon was the peak.

Avoid this place. I was here for my birthday and the food was awful. I ordered a medium rare T-bone and was cooked well done being 1 cm thick. My wife had a duck breast that looked and tasted like it was cooked 3 days before.

Small size portion on fish soup Even smaller then a cup of tea. A few fish tracks in it. No connection to the weight written on the menu. Acceptable horse mackerel but unacceptable garlic sauce. Prices too high for what they offers. For short: not
